Posting to the forum (guidelines)

To keep our forum helpful, relevant and safe for all fans, we only accept posts that stick to the following guidelines:

General guidelines

• Be civil. Don’t attack those you disagree with.
• Offer feedback if it’s constructive or helpful to others.
• Do not engage or attempt to reason with trolls; simply flag the comment and let moderators deal with it.
• While the occasional off-topic thread is okay, the focus of this forum is on Mega building community. Try not to stray too far from this direction. If it becomes a problem, moderators reserve the right to remove off-topic threads.
• Keep conversation on topic within threads. Irrelevant posts may be deleted.

Flagging

• Flag a comment if it does not abide by the Guidelines and decreases the quality of the thread. Do not police users/content yourself.
• Do not gang up on a specific user based on their opinion or posts, as this can constitute harassment.
• Avoid second-guessing moderators’ decisions or piling on after they have intervened (e.g., “I knew that would get deleted” etc.)

Zero-Tolerance Policy

• No abusive or hateful speech based on religion, gender, race, or sexual orientation.
• No harassment of other users is accepted. Try to make your point without using insults, threats or any other form of harassment, whether direct or masked. This includes personal attacks on moderators for doing their jobs.
• No group bullying. Ganging up on other users is not accepted. Piling on, repeating negative criticism and hammering the point are all unacceptable.
• No trolling. Do not post in order to anger other members or intentionally cause negative reactions.
• No soliciting, promotion or advertising of other products, websites, blogs or forums.
• No graphic or adult content: Don’t post any mature content or language, such as profanity or content that’s violent, graphic or suggestive in nature.
• No copyright infringement: Only post your own pictures or content that you have permission to use. Don’t post copyrighted images or any other content that belongs to someone else. Copyrighted materials may be deleted.
• No personal information: Stay safe! Don’t include any personal information about yourself, such as your full name, location, age, passwords, phone number, email address, social accounts, financial information, etc.

Deletion and Banning

• Users who don’t follow the guidelines will get a warning. If they persist, their account may be banned.
• All content that falls within the Zero-Tolerance Policy will be deleted.
• Do not re-post deleted content and refrain from mentioning it once deleted.

These groups will make it quicker to reference our rules when needed.
