Palmer is a bad character to the core 343 could have made her a good character but failed her introduction by using her in halo 4 anything that came from halo 4 had potential and a lot of the ideas they had weren't that bad but they not only had poor execution by craming these ideas where they don't fit.


When it comes down to halo 5 their is no doubt the game wasn't BUNGiE tier but it was a step up from halo 4 I think that if halo 5 didn't have RNG lootbox micro transactions and at least gave us the reach armor system of leveling to EARN stuff and buying the armor you want with in game credits it could have been great.

I realize that I have opinions that (almost) none of the Halo community shares. I have come to grips with the fact that the majority of waypoint thinks I’m an idiot that has no clue what I’m talking about. But I enjoy Halo more than anything, however “misguided” I may be.

Palmer is a good character.

Chief is not in my top five favorite characters.

I hate Cortana and Halsey

Halo 5 was good.

Halo 4 was bad.

I take my leave until the Palmer conversation blows over.

Your entire arguments are invalid, considering you think Destiny 2 is actually good.
You can't really be trusted for character development.

How did Destiny get brought into this, and how in the world does that make my Halo opinions invalid or misguided?

Factually speaking Halo 5's campaign is not good at all, but if you like it, good on you.

I'm not saying your opinion is necessarily wrong... It just can't be trusted.

For example: If I were to say that my K/D in a video game is -2.0, then no one is going to want me in an e-sports team, because I can't be trusted to play well enough.

Same thing when discussing games.

If you have a track record of supporting games that are objectively bad in a multitude of ways, including fraudulent practices, your opinion is technically invalidated when discussing what games are good.
Regardless of whether that opinion is right or wrong.

Personally, I have no right to call anyone out about their medical diagnosis, because I'm not a medical professional, and if I try to diagnose myself, I tend to come off short.

Example: I think I have a belly ache, but it turned out to be an appendicitis when I went to the doctor.

So yeah, do not doubt my (Halo) Infinite wisdom.

I'm curious why do you play halo if you don't like the main protagonist it's like saying I love suger but I hate sweet stuff

I don’t dislike him, don’t get me wrong, he’s one of the best characters in the history of pop culture, I just have other characters that I like more. I said he wasn’t in my top five, didn’t say not at all. Diesel will attest to the fact that I don’t really love the main characters of anything.

Also Survivor11 I see what you’re saying, but I’ll counter with how can we trust you because you approach things comparing it to Halo. Which is a bad idea cause as we all know Halo is the greatest game series ever, and everything else just about pales in comparison. :)

I approach games with the thought of:

“Am I having fun?”
“Is the story (if there is one) capturing my attention?”
“Is there a decent amount of good characters?”
“Would I recommend this to someone else?”

Does that make sense?
