I still have yet to buy paints, but the 405th is getting a soft design reboot when I start making customs again. Nothing major, but it does need to be mentioned in advance. For one thing, all of my new 405th figures have custom made cloth trench coats instead of MCX trench coat pieces. Believe me, making little tiny clothes for Mega Construx figures is super tedious.

im repainting. them to go with my own 405th sub-faction the 405th mountain reconnaissance unit. Comprised of the surviving odsts they wear armor with a brown and green color scheme with red markings here and there. Otherwise they are normal 405th guys
