Feature requests

I think it would be helpful to the creators of the site if we listed out the features we would like them to build. From browsing the threads I've found the following and added my own.

1. Reply to comments in the gallery
2. Smillies in the forum
3. Custom avatars
4. Photo gallery / slideshow feature - Original thread
5. Ways to promote build competitions outside of the forum
6. Ability to delete a forum post and/or topic
7. Ability to view the status of a gallery submission
8. Follow a user / get notifications of new content - charliebucket
9. Mobile app with push notifications - Red__Spartan003
10. Private messaging - LishaThorne
11. Gallery post status / Reason for rejection - LishaThorne
12. View total likes from all posts - charliebucket
13. Create playlists of posts - charliebucket
14. Edit reviews - Admiral-Sabree
15. Signatures - charliebucket
16. View counter on gallery posts - LishaThorne
17. Private photos/video - Joescibelli

Things that were on this list that actually became site features:

1. Video upload
2. Flagging/reporting content
3. Reply to comments in the gallery I put this one in both lists because even though you can't reply you can still @username to get a message to that user.
4. Custom avatars? I also put this one in both categories because you can make a custom Destiny avatar.
5. Upload more than 5 photos at a time to the gallery
6. More avatar / updated avatars - thekiller2468
7. Editing gallery posts - Goodwill Hunter, Roebuck

Another suggestion would be if moderators could keep track of threads and merge threads which are basically the same thing, I've come across several suggestions threads within the halo sub-forum, and COD suggestions within the Ask Mega Sub-forum and it'd be nice if we could keep these in the correct threads so we can keep this collectors forum looking like a collectors forum and not have it looking like the official [competitor] forums (which are a mess at least 10 suggestions for 2016 star wars sets in the starwars forum alone).

The ability to upload more than 5 images for one gallery post.
I get the impression that some larger builds would require more than 5 images.

I think you covered it pretty well, uploading videos like stopmotions would be awesome.

Here's a feature request - how about a delete your own post/topic function which actually works. Just saying the current one doesn't work at all, you tick the box and nothing happens.

I noticed that as well.

Not sure if anyone has noticed.

In the gallery section (when commenting) you can now use the @ symbol in front of a username.
The person you @ will be notified that you are speaking directly to them.

The notifications will appear in the notifications section of your profile.
