Hello, first post. Been a collector for a while. Mega Bloks is on a role lately with releases and my wallet and wife doesn't like it.

Ya the modern troop packs remind me of a mega construx version of the FBI and ISA teams. The urban pack in particular, the gas mask guy most closely fits the smg character models look and so dose the sniper. The solders look like the assault class from the faction, the riot shield looks very similar to the extended version of BO2 riot shield.
The drone set is the BO2 drone with the SMG character model from the Seals.
I don't know what the other stuff is based off of (world war era) as I'm not familiar with the older COD games or the most recent WW2.

The guys in gas masks are dead ringers for the SAS who took part in the Iranian Embassy crisis (which I am really surprised was not in any of the Black Ops games). The SAS troopers in the first proper mission of CoD 4 (the freighter assault) were based on that look.

When will Mega Construx reveal them on the website I have seen them at Walmart. Is it just a Walmart special?

I see them. No new building sets besides the drone and the checkpoint is a bit disappointing.

I still can't find the Surface troops. That's been one of my must haves for a long while.

If you use Amazon it's listed as "Mega Construx #1 Mega Bloks Call of Duty Care Package Troop Building Kit" . Available for $15.99. That's how I got mine.
