Why are is Mega Construx creating less sets?

From what I've observed, compared to previous years Mega Construx has started creating more single release figures and less sets apart from the cyclops. In I believe 2015 they had a Vulture, and the Firebase and many more and the only one that come to mind from 2016 was the Kodiak Siege cannon and some cyclops's. Is anyone else worried about this? I mean sure, the figures are nice, but I'd rather have them paired with sets than have them out on their own. To clarify, I mean sets as in actual vehicles or a sizable construction, such as Warthog or chopper and larger. Not the little squad packs and "Heroes".

Just take a look at their sets section and you'll see a fair number of 2016 sets were released.

I know. I saw at the Toy Fair and realized that in years past they had almost all sets there? And with this year having Halo Wars 2 it's a huge opportunity. Nightingale, Condor, Grizzly, Banished Scarab etc.charliebucket wrote:I am! Mega Construx is used to identify the collectors lines of toys. A agree with you. I noticed this with the fall wave for 2016. We got 3 larger sets including the spirit dropship and everything else was smaller sets. Wile I don't mind the cheaper onse I like the big guns. The largest sets we have gotten by mega construx are um. O ya it the wasp. Largest mega construx specific set since the rebrand. We didn't even get a sneak peak for a signature series. They did 2 last year now I'm afraid we wount get one this time around.

It's a ripoff. I feel a bit better after the Wolverine. But I would have preferred another, larger set as well. Alongside a sig-series. Maybe a Phantom. Also IF the sig-series is the Spirit of Fire then it could just be a FUD re-do considering how bad this year has been. Sorry, MEGA, but all I want is MW crates and HAZMAT dudes. Nothing else.
