Recommended glue to use on figures?

I don't know if there's a recommended glue, per se. Personally, I usually just use the el-cheapo superglue I find at local discount stores. It does the job.

Yeah, same here. Just make sure you don’t use too much.

Slow-setting cyanoacrylate (super glue) purchased from the local hobby specialist retailer. The slow setting version gives you a second or two to position the parts properly.

Many glues will not stick to plastic or not stick long if you plan to "play" with it.
If you want a permanent fix you would need to use something that fuses the plastic together.

There are special glues for PLA, ABS and PVC plastics. Often they come with 2 tubes you mix together.

VinceHoffman is right about the slow setting cyanoacrylate glue for builds, but I recommend instant cyanoacrylate glue for kitbashing figures. The longer it takes for the glue on a figure to set, the more likely you are to accidentally shift a part away from how you want it. I also don't recommend catalyzing the glue with anything, because it creates bubbles in the outer layer of glue.

To anyone who sees this, you should check out the Warhammer 40k line of products. It's a bit pricy, but it works amazing! And it is designed to work on plastic!
They have 2 types of glue, one for teraign and mud and dirt, that kind of stuff, and one for gluing models together. You guys should definitely check it out!

Actually, the Warhammer glue easily breaks. I'd say stick with cheap superglue, works best.
