ODSTs and Helljumpers: different helmets?

I noticed that the visors of the Mega Construx ODSTs and the Spartan Helljumpers are actually different shapes. The Spartan's visor is much more defined and hard edged, while the ODST's is more round. Were the visors actually changed in universe? Or did Mega do something strange with their figures?

In cannon the Spartan Helljumper armor set is inspired from the ODST Helljumpers armor. It is not a direct derivative or variant. It is its own armor set. ODST armor is not the same as the Spartan Helljumper. Another way is to look between the different recon helmet molds. there are very distinct differences via era. Trilogy Era up to Halo 3, and the Sequel Era Spartan 4
