Re: Breakout Beasts Vs Plasma Dragons vs Mega Bloks dragons

I tried a Crystal Creatures. Got the one I least desired. Besides not getting one I was interested in, I just wasn't too impressed with the quality. Even putting aside having to extract the item from slime, which was a pain, I don't like how rubbery the creature was. One of its wings just can't stay...

Re: New Line Possibilities for MCX

Instead of licensing a mech property, I think Mega should just create their own mech property. Just like I'd rather have seen their in-house brand of Dragons come back instead of spending money on the Game of Thrones license. I understand the appeal of licensed brands, but I think Mega could delve i...

Re: Historical "Heroes" -Could this be a possibility for MCX?

I think I'd rather have generic, troop builder figures of historical warriors instead of named persons. Either as singles in a Heroes type line. And/or as "versus" sets like recent Halo ones. For example: Samurai vs Ninjas Knights vs Barbarians Spartans vs Romans (I think doesn't quite line up but s...

Re: Walking Dead Mega Construx Next line???

I'm fine with the CoD zombie stuff. Which I loved. I'd like to see more of it, but it seems to have run its course. I do wish the Mega zombies had been more poseable and used the new style articulation. Especially since the limbs can be disassembled, which seems like a great play-pattern and customi...

SDCC 2019

Thought I'd start a topic/thread to discuss anything shown at this year's SDCC. PIcs have surfaced on Instagram of a bunch of upcoming Masters of the Universe stuff. Point Dread with Talon Fighter. Zodac. Unflocked Moss Man. Filmation Evil-Lyn. Battle armor He-Man and Skeletor on top of Battle Cat a...

Re: End of Halo Mega Construx?

Thanks for clarifying. I was going to say the press release doesn't mention building toys, so you could tell by its omission that Mega likely still has the Halo building toy rights. Mattel didn't "let go" of the DC license. Spin Master pitched the WB/DC regarding their potential plans for the DC lic...

New Mega product listings (non licensed, house brand)

I found some listings for upcoming Mega Construx items on a major etailer's site. These listings are brand new to the site and available for preoder. The pricing for the vehicles seems really low, so I assume their figures aren't collector-style. However, the first two listings seem like they may be...

Re: Would Anybody Like to See Thundercats in MCX Heroes?

I haven't decided yet if I'm going. If I do, I'll stop by the booth and say hi. Good to hear some stuff will be revealed at the show. It's certainly a good place to reveal stuff, as there's so much press coverage of the show.

Re: 2019 SDCC Exclusive

I could be wrong, but I believe Mattel still sells stuff at the show. When they started doing presales, it was an attempt to cut down the line at their booth. I haven't gone to SDCC in a few years, but I think they were doing presales and also had their booth one the show floor selling stuff.

Re: Would Anybody Like to See Thundercats in MCX Heroes?

Cool. Looking forward to hearing more via SDCC. Will you guys have more of a presence there than in previous years. Before Mattel purchased Mega, Mega used to have a booth at SDCC. The last few years, Mega hasn't had much of a presence at the show. Even the freebie figures dried up. Can you comment ...
