About the project
I will be handing this post over to my good friend Angus Kilgore, to let him explain the powers of Opposites.
“Thanks Nigel! Opposites all generally have one baseline power. They all have much higher strength than we do. Of course, in their universe, since everyone has increased strength, they all cancel each other out. The full range of strength has not been tested, however Acilegna has been known to lift things as heavy as a Scorpion before.
Now, on to individual powers. These rarely reflect the Opposites personality, but there are exceptions:
Legin: Legin has the power of extreme speed. We don’t know his top speed, but he’s been recorded moving faster than the speed of sound. That, combined with the plethora of consciouses in his brain, and super strength, makes him a formidable opponent.
Tekcubeilrahc: As shown last week, Tekcubeilrahc has the power to multiply himself. Luckily he seems unable to multiply beyond ten, though that’s ten more than I want to deal with.
Olim: Opposite of Milo Del Toro, Olim is man who will do anything for power. That might not be a big deal, however he can also shapeshift. Don’t trust anyone when Olim is around.
Acilegna: The woman, the myth, the legend. The Opposite who forced us to acknowledge the existence of other universes. Upon arriving here she immediately attempted to destroy everyone and everything in sight. Her volatile nature, plus her laser vision would make her to dangerous to handle, but she has grown to become more of an ally.
Palfburg the Invincible: His name says it all. This grunt is invulnerable to every known attack. He was the first Opposite to enter our world. He arrived during the Reach campaign and fought through the Requiem campaign. Palfburg is unkillable.
Kemis: The exception to the rule. Being the opposite of a Templar crusader, he is an Assassin. That makes his power of invisibility appropriate. He is also the only Opposite who cares about his counterpart.
There you go! A crash course in Opposite science! -Angus
