Build the most powerful sets in the universe, including an SDCC exclusive, with Masters of the Universe

If you’ve been tracking San Diego Comic Con coverage, you know we have some amazing Masters of the Universe products on display at the Mattel booth this year.

First and foremost, a con-exclusive, limited edition collectors set that will transport you right back to your youth – and the 80s. That’s right, we’ve resurrected the one and only Battle Bones!

Our buildable Battle Bones is super-poseable, holds up to 8 figures and features a built-in handle and open-and-close jaws, just like the original. At 431-pieces, it comes with 4 micro action figures – including a FLOCKED Moss Man – and even a Moss Man pine-scented air freshener! Battle Bones is available for purchase at our booth during SDCC.

But for those of you who can’t make it to the convention, we’ve also unveiled a full MOTU line that will be hitting stores next year. See the gallery below from some highlights, including Battle Cat, the addition of many fan-favorite characters to the Heroes line, and more buildable vehicles. We’ll share more details about these upcoming products as we get closer to the release dates.

And don’t forget about the newly released Castle Grayskull, currently available at online retailers. Already a big hit, every detail of the buildable castle has been faithfully recreated, right down to the working elevator and throne room with trap door. The Jawbridge is even activated by the Power Sword! You’ll need to see this thing to believe it.

Now, hold aloft your magic sword and enjoy the con!

What's going on with the supply of megaconstrux figures? My local Walmart doesn't have them anymore & figures like Stratos are hard to find online except from scalpers.

Hi! We purchased the masters of the universe battle bones at SDCC. We spilled water on the building instructions which caused all of the paged to "glue together" and my son is very upset he can't build it. Does anyone have a copy of the instructions???

My local Wal-mart stopped carrying Mega Construx months ago and even others miles from my area have stopped carrying Mega Construxs as well. I've had to get mine off Ebay at inflated prices. It's a shame that seies 6 of the Heroes line maybe to expensive for me. I want all the Masters of the Universe item but I don't know.

This is true, virtually every Walmart in my local area replaced shelving space so Mega Construx is no longer being sold in stores. They sell online through 3rd party companies that over charge on the Walmart site. This includes the Heroes Series 5 which I still cant find. Please make more! :)
