@C4_Craig I do believe that the landing gears do NOT hold up the pelican without aid, MEGA construx even included clear pieces to hold it up because they knew the landing gears could not do the job.

This is a great pelican! Like it's huge and I myself love how it opens up. The pictures make it look really big inside, but it is in fact a small space. Figures cannot stand in the back doorway, there is only one seat in the back when in game there are ten, no copilot, they just threw on a plate for the back door instead of actually putting on the real back door for pelicans with the top and bottom sections that separate when it opens. So it is in fact a good set, just be aware of all of this before buying one.

The pelican is massive. I love the Pilot figure, although he should be called his real name. Why is there a master chief in EVERY set, I have like 500 master chiefs and 6 other spartans, so that is kinda annoying. But i like the hunter, even though there should be 2. (As he said down there, don't hunters usually hunt in pairs??)And the pilot's belt broke on the 2nd day of using it. The pelican is OK, but its landing gear can't hold the back up, which is really annoying. But it is still a really good set, 5 stars.
