Great figure. This is a new Kirk to add to Kirks in the the mega line. The Amok Time Kirk here, fits well with the typical one in the guardian of forever playset with no torn shirt. The transporter set has Kirk in a mirror universe outfit, the bridge set has him in his green wraparound shirt, and the Enterprise set has in dress uniform. SCRIPTANDSCALPEL, for building a crew I recommend the Guardian of forever playset ($7 on Amazon) with 4 figs: Kirk, McCoy, and 2 redshirts; and Day of the Dove playset ($7 Amazon) with 4 other figs: Scotty, Chekov, the Klingon Kang, and a Klingon soldier. In addition to the figures you also get some blocks to build s scene.

Great looking figure, and the headsculpt is a great likeness to William Shatner. Personally I'm not big on the pinhole eyes but I understand this is a new design. The body itself would be a great base for plenty of figures, except for the battle damage, but I understand that this is supposed to be an episode-specific figure, as you can see with the accessories. If I can remove the battle scar on his chest, I could see myself buying multiples to make some starfleet crew, and then using the heads for other projects. The head would work well for plenty of customs, maybe even a TJ Hooker if I can put together a police officer body! I'll post results when I get them.
