Allow me to introduce you to the new and improved green machine MK II. Or as I sometimes call it, my bigger then average friend.
Over here is a little something the weapons dev team whipped up for those close encounters that sometimes happen in the field.
I am also going to be assisted by a few of my boys in green. Corporal Random a his fire team.
Now let’s get started....
But first! Let me slip on some protective headgear.
We are looking bad!
The first thing you may notice is the addition of a second working hand. Now, both hands can be equally versatile in destroying the enemy. Not a bad thing!
Secondly! You may notice that glowing ball whatchmacallit up above my head. Well, to demonstrate I’ll need Corporal Random to step forward.
Now son, I need you to present arms and empty your whole mag directly at me.
DID I STUTTER MARINE!?
Sir! No sir!
As you can see the MK II is now capable of deploying a reactive point protective shield. I’ll spare you the tech talk, but it’s based on those handy bubble generators we sometimes get our hands on.
Thirdly! Moving on to armaments.
As you can see the left arm has had a heavy flame unit attached.
Mm hmm... very satisfying.
The rotary cannon has been moved and replaced with an even heavier version. The newer model is also belt fed from a ammo drum mounted behind the right shoulder.
Long range missile launcher remains pretty much the same. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
And finally, for those close encounters i mentioned. An exosuit sized shotgun, with of course a bayonet attachment if for some reason all your ordinance has been expended and there are still alien bad guys to destroy.
